Eco-Friendly Technology in the Market

We are cool, IN and OUT

Evoair is the world's first eco-friendly air-conditioning system that not only satisfies our needs to cool the indoor environment, but also emits cool and humid air to the external surroundings via its patented outdoor unit

GREETINGS TO ALL

A LITTLE ABOUT US

COMPANY HISTORY & FACTS

1. ONE MAN’s DREAM

As a green activist/ environmentalist, Dr Low Wai Koon believes that as mankind, we enjoy the Earth’s resources to improve our standards of livings and create our wealth, we should do our part to contribute to the Society and our Earth as gratitude.

2. ECO-FRIENDLY  SYSTEM

EvoAir has invested all resources (time and financial) to be continuously involved in the R&D work on green technology.

Do you feel warmer compared to the local weather forecast?

This problem is present whenever urbanisation is present: Urban Heat Islands (UHIs). Temperatures within and surrounding cities and towns are higher than those in the rural areas, as tall buildings can trap heat during the day. To make this worse, outdoor units of conventional air-conditioners blow out hot and dry air outdoors, causing UHIs to worsen. This is how the heat absorbed by the indoor unit to cool down the indoors gets thrown out into the atmosphere.

Can UHIs make global warming worse?

Of course! The worsening UHIs by outdoor units will heat up the atmosphere, as heat trapped during the day rises to the sky at night. This makes the effect of UHIs more profound at night than day. But on a large scale as more and more air-conditioners are utilised globally, their outdoor units emit hot and dry air, thus heating up the Earth average temperature rapidly beyond 1°C that of the Industrial Age.

A 1°C increase may not be significant, but due to the Earth’s seasonal temperature variations, melting of glaciers and icebergs occur during the summer months at polar regions. This causes the average mean sea level to rise and flood lowland coastal regions, including countries like Maldives as well as island nations in the Carribean and Pacific Ocean.

It does not end here...

Since heating up the atmosphere disrupts our Earth's meteorological processes, global warming also causes climate change. Its effect is so great that it causes extreme weather; forest fires in Australia and the US West Coast due to hot and dry weather as well as flash floods in tropical regions due to more frequent heavy rains and thunderstorms. On a large scale, climate change triggers cyclones, typhoons or hurricanes more frequently, causing lives and significant damage to economies.
